“You have always seen the unseen” is an initiative of the Switch Lab visual arts platform.

Premiered on the UY x National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest

“The project bringstogether four young voices of contemporary art, that started a collaboration with three fashion labels in an exploration of the typologies of the fashion image, the relationship that visual art has with this industry and, further, opening discussions on complex topics such as gender representation or how to reinvent the way these types of images are produced.” -National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest. 

UY Studio was one of the designer partners of the initiative, working in close collaboration with Romanian visual artist Patricia Morosan. Morosan’s project “You, the Living” is a mixed media body essay that photographs and documents the body transformations of Louka L., who started taking testosterone at the end of 2018.
