Who Is UY Studio?

UY is a Berlin-based fragrance and design studio creating niche perfumes and minimalist design objects for intentional living.

Our fragrances are developed around mood, memory, and atmosphere rather than trends. Each scent is built with a clear character, balancing freshness, warmth, depth, and restraint. OUR HISTORY

We used to run UY Studio as a fashion label rooted in the dark aesthetic of the city’s club culture.

For more than a decade, we built a world shaped by intensity, movement, bodies, nights, and the absence of light. We came for expression. We found identity, community, and eventually, the need to change.

After over a decade, we got what we came for and much more. It became time to reinvent ourselves.

To fall in love again.

UY’s story is one of grit, growth, and transition. It reflects our struggles, triumphs, doubts, and hopes. What once began in darkness has moved toward something softer, clearer, and more present.

Our creations used to be defined by the lack of light.

WHO IS BEHIND UY?

Idan Gilony, is one of the three founders and Creative Director of UY Studio. His multidisciplinary practice spans fashion, fragrance, interiors, objects, and cultural experiences, all guided by a belief in design as a way to shape connection, atmosphere, and memory.
